BAKTI DESA

Cibeureum

On Thusday, 3rd January 2019, we assembled in front field of 3 High School Bandung at 6 o’clock, and we went to Cibeureum Village by a rented public transportation. We passed Bojongsoang street, Pacet, and finally we arrived in Village Meeting Hall on 9.30 AM. We immediately gathered on the Courtyard of the Village Hall with each class. We stored our bags and 2 pieces of textbooks that will be donated. After that, we entered the Village Hall to opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was hosted by my Sundanese language teacher, Mr. Ncep Ridwan, who invited the School Management Representative, Mr. Rahmat and Mr. Taman, and the Village Head to open the event. Followed by giving souvenirs from 3 High School to the villagers, after that the box of rice was distributed for lunch so that when we arrived at the foster home we did not need to ask for food again. After ate the meal, we group the books that have been collected according to their level, elementary, middle and high school.

After that, we headed to our foster home, guided by a middle-aged woman, and our homeroom teacher. I guess we have to walk 500 meters. If seen from the Village Hall, we had to go uphill, and our house was behind the ramp on the left side of the Village Hall. Before heading to the foster home, we were directed to walk to the RW post of the house we were going to live in, Hj. Enin's house to put the basic necessities to be distributed. Then we were called by a group to go to our foster home, when it was our group's turn, we walked past the alley, the field, and the alley later found out that the location of our foster home was the farthest from the house that our friends live in. After that, our homeroom teacher, Mrs. Diden handed us over to our foster parents, Mrs. Iis, Mrs. Diden spent Rp. 620,000 for our 3-day meal, after which we performed the midnight prayer and we got to know the children around our house, invited them to buy balls, and played football with them on a pretty green field.

After that, we bought our new friend some food, played in our foster home's house, the blue shirt behind named apiw, next to it was named Al, the red hooded named Rini, the blue shirt in front named Afwan, who wore an ash shirt colored Iki, which playing cellphone called Azriel, and the one in front was me. Then we played again with our friends who came after to join in playing the ball, after playing the ball, we took a walk up the hill in front of the Village Hall.
After that, we returned home to do Maghrib prayers at the nearest mosque. After that, we had dinner and continued with helping Sintia to do her homework, Sintia is the children around our house who are still in the 6th grade.
After that, we went to Ms. Yusi's house, our friend's foster mother, and together there to discuss what we would do tomorrow because we remembered the work of our parents, housewives and drivers so we decided to find out what problems there were in Cibeureum Village this. Then go home to rest.
On the second day, at 05.00 we woke up to do the morning prayer. Then we go back to sleep until 6:00. After that, we had breakfast with our foster family. After breakfast, we went to Ms. Yusi's house to approach our friends. Arriving at Ms. Yusi's house, we chatted and decided to go to Situ Cisanti together with XI SCIENCE 2. We went to Situ Cisanti using a flat car. When we arrived at Situ Cisanti, we took pictures, ate the provisions that had been taken by our foster mother, and toured around Situ Cisanti. At first, we wanted to take a boat there. However, the boat that day was not operated. So we decided to get around around Situ Cisanti. There we found 7 springs. After we were satisfied to enjoy Situ Cisanti, we returned to the village on foot. It's really tiring because the distance from Situ Cisanti to the village is quite far.

Arriving at our homes, we take a shower and get ready to carry out extension activities. The extension activities were held at the village hall. There are 2 extension activities. Some are indoors and outdoors. Those inside the room only pay attention to the speaker who provides material about farming techniques. Like what tools are used, what plants are there, and what technology is used now. In addition to noticing the presenters, they also watched videos about farming. Whereas the activities outside are divided into 4 groups. There are 4 posts that will be visited by each group, namely a workshop post, a network culture post, a way to plow land, and a polybag post. Then, the OSIS management became the mentor of each group to run well. After each group visited all the posts, the event was finished and we returned to our homes.
Around 4 pm, we helped to provide basic necessities containing instant noodles, rice, cakes, oil, sugar to the houses.

After that, we, students of class XI SCIENCE 2 gathered at the Ar-Rahman mosque for Maghrib prayer. At 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m., we followed a children's study with Ustad Deden, which was housed in the building next to the Ar-Rahman mosque. After that, we donated our preloved clothes to the children who attended the recitation. All clothes has run out after 45 minutes. We ensure that children take appropriate clothes and according to body size. Because it's too late, we go home. We didn't go straight to bed, we ate snacks and watched TV with our foster father.

On the third day, we woke up at 05.00 WIB. Then, we prayed and rushed to take a shower,
because we were members of the Student Council board, we had activities in the
morning that were doing voluntary work in the form of distributing books to
schools from elementary, middle and high school, free medical treatment at the
health center, and planting trees. Me and my group chose to share books. We
distributed books to 2 elementary schools and 2 junior high schools. We also
wanted to distribute books to Muhamadiyyah High School, but unfortunately that
day the school was off so we couldn't meet the school. Finally, we left the
book at the Village Hall to be given later to Muhammadiyah High School. After doing the
student council activities, i was waiting for the other friends to gather and go to somewhere. We decided
to visit one of the rivers in Cibeureum, the Ciendog River. We walked to Ciendog by our own foot.
We had several times through the residential area. After finally finding rice fields, we decided to take
the path of rice fields. We had several times through residents who are farmers. They are very friendly.
They said hello to us, and we said hello again. When we got lost. they always helped us. On this trip,
some of us often fell to the ground cause of the narrow and slippery road. After we reached the river,
we played there. After that, we went home, take a shower, and bring our bags because it's time to go home.
